Frederick ("Eric") CaluyaPhysical Therapist
Our therapists are truly different! They DO NOT give you exercises and walk away! In addition, our therapists aren't even going to have you exercise if you are too injured to do so. Our therapists use a 'hands on' approach of muscle therapy techniques, stretching and passive modalities to get you to a place where you can be active without the danger of further injury.
The ultimate goal of physical therapy is to restore maximal functional independence to each individual patient. These goals are accomplished through exercise, stretching, heat, cold, cold laser, ultrasound, muscle stimulation and massage.
Common treated conditions:
- Weak 'Core' Muscles (resulting in back pain)
- Arthritis
- Bursitis
- Sciatica
- Rotator Cuff Tears/Injuries
- Knee Injuries
- IT Band Tightness (resulting in knee pain)
- Frozen Shoulder
- Shoulder Pain, Elbow Pain, Hand Pain
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Hip Pain, Knee Pain, Ankle/Foot Pain
- Plantar Fascitis
- Osteoporosis/Osteopenia
How long will physical therapy take is a common question asked by many patients. Although the question itself is a simple one, the answer is much more difficult.
When starting physical therapy, you must think what is it that you want to accomplish at the end of your program. Your physical therapist will work with you to devise an appropriate treatment program to help achieve your rehabilitation goals.
